RECIPE: Margherita and Bolognese Pizza on the Kamado Joe DōJoe

Some days are just meant for pizza and Dan Parkin delivers.🍕 He shares his tips and tricks for making Margherita and Bolognese Pizza on the Kamado Joe DōJoe!

Ingredients for Dough

  • 370g 00 flour
  • 28 g olive oil
  • 5g salt
  • 210ml water
  • 5g sugar
  • 7g dry active yeast

Instructions for Dough

  1. Mix the flour and salt.
  2. Mix the yeast and sugar into the water leave until yeast foams then add your oil to the flour and water mixture and mix to combine the kneed the dough till smooth, place into a oiled bowl and cover for 1 hour or doubled in size, then take out, divide into two roughly equal parts and shape into balls then let rest in a covered container for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  3. Stretch the dough and get ready to assemble.

Pizza Ingredients

  1. Pizza Sauce
  2. Bolognese (precooked)
  3. Mozzarella
  4. Parmesan cheese
  5. Olive oil
  6. Fresh basil

Pizza Instructions

  1. Temp for DōJoe between 500˚F-600˚F
  2. Assemble and cook 5-8 minutes per pizza 👍🏼
