30 days of Food Processor Recipes: Day 24 • Harissa

To celebrate the return of the Cuisinart Trade In and Trade Up we are sharing recipes that feature the work horse of any kitchen: the Food Processor!

Harissa is a staple of North African cooking, marrying the spice of hot chiles with the bittersweet fragrance of caraway seeds. Try it on grilled or braised meats, as a salad dressing or dip, or as a secret ingredient in your hamburgers. No, really! Mix a little in with the ground meat before grilling for a unique twist. You can also swirl a little into ketchup for a spicier dip for french fries.
