It’s the start of a new year, so it seems like a good time for us to get some ideas from you. We’d like to think we’re pretty good at figuring out what to carry in our stores; after all, when you buy some things and don’t buy other things, we get the message.
However, maybe there is some stuff you think we should carry that we never do. Or, perhaps our stores are full of things you think don’t belong. Do we have too many choices in some areas? Not enough in others? Where are we missing the boat?
We’d love it if you had the time to give us some feedback. We can’t promise we’ll honor all your requests; we do have our own point of view, after all. And some products we all may want to see simply don’t exist. But, we know there are some good ideas out there. So, let’s hear ’em!
I am so sad you had to close the Clackamas store. Why?
Shelf-stable gourmet food. Like a gourmet food mini-market. Items to cook with, use for cocktail parties and gift baskets.
Simply put……Kitchen Kaboodle leaving CTC sux. Really disappointed once again in the mall managements choices. I will continue to patronize your store even if it means driving a little further. I will not patronize Toby Keith’s Bar or whatever stupid thing is expected to go in there. Ugh.
I would like to see one handed, self locking tongs. I love mine and often want to give a pair to someone. But I have to special order them from the store and that takes a long time. So I cannot get them for a shower that is less than 5 weeks away. If you would demo them I am sure they would sell well.
I would like to see the crepe paddles come back. You know, the purpeller looking gadget that spreads the batter around the pan? I am on a gluten free diet and would like to put thin crepe’s in my diet.
Hate to see you go from CTC but understand exactly what you are talking about. It was easier to get parking for Kaboodle’s outside space but walking out the Mall in the rain was a pain also. The Mac store moved inside and although the location is better down by Penny’s and B&N it is smaller and doesn’t show their product as well.
Oh well, what I have often had a hard time finding is additional hooks for my pan rack, the staff has always offered to order them, but like many many people I want it NOW.
Another thought is that Happy Valley has a mall out at 156 area, lots of new big houses going in all around and a New Seasons store a Kitchen Kaboodle would go very nicely there, and you would still be on the East side. Sigh.
I am anxiously awaiting the hopeful return of the Garlic Perfection from Kitchen Innovations. Will you be getting them back for a return performance?
We want it back, too! The Garlic Perfection should be back in stock at the end of January or in early February.
Keep stocking Fiestawware! Your store is my go-to place for Fiestaware and your pricing is great!
Yes: Sousvide machines, molecular gastronomy kits/tools.
No: Chairs, couches, etc. Keep it to the kitchen.
How about Moccamaster coffeemakers? I have one and love it. Am I right that you don’t carry them?
We do carry the Moccamaster! And we have for a couple of years, both with the thermal carafe and the glass carafe.

Would like to see chocolate whisks…they appear in a chocolate ad on TV. I agree that you could do away with sofas.
I was glad to see that the store on Broadway is carrying the LeCreusent
Coffee cups! Those make great little gifts coupled with specialty hot chocolate or tea or coffee. I used to have to go to the NW 23rd store to get them. Now the cup display is right inside the door on the left of the Broadway store.
You no longer carry Staub, but can it be special ordered?
Enjoy your stores!
– Carol
Sorry, Carol, we cannot special order Staub. We dropped Staub due to problems with color consistency in the porcelain finish. It was a beautiful product when the color was right, but it often wasn’t right.
